If you want to buy a smoker, you should consider size, application, heating method, and smoking process together. Beelonia offers stainless steel smoking cabinets for anglers, self-sufficient enthusiasts, and BBQ fans, as well as larger solutions for butchers, farm shops, catering, and trout farms. When choosing, it is important whether a single-walled or double-walled insulated design suits your location.

Smoky, F-series, or boiling and smoking unit?
The Smoky series is the compact entry-level choice for private users and anglers. F1 and F2 offer more space; their heating systems for wood, gas, or electricity can be swapped and retrofitted. KR boiling and smoking units combine cold and hot smoking in one system and are designed for commercial applications.
Heating with wood, gas, or electricity
Wood requires active fire management and is ideal for a traditional workflow. A gas smoker allows for an adjustable heat supply. If you want to operate a smoker electrically, you need a suitable power connection. In the F-series, your choice remains flexible because the heaters are interchangeable and retrofittable.
Cold, warm, and hot smoking
Cold smoking works at low temperatures and requires controlled smoke development. Warm and hot smoking combine smoke with stronger heating; the possible process and heating depend on the model. For the Smoky series and F1–F2 70/60 XL, a smoke generator for hours of cold smoking phases is available as an accessory.
Buy your smoker directly from the manufacturer
Beelonia has been building smokers in Beelen (NRW) since 1880, manufactures them from V2A stainless steel (AISI 304), and sells directly from the factory. Spare parts remain available even after decades. Our expert advice helps you tailor the size, heating method, and design – single-walled, double-walled, or insulated – to your location and usage.

Frequently asked questions
Which smoker is best for beginners?
The compact Smoky series is designed for beginners and anglers. The quantity, desired smoking process, and installation location remain decisive. If you need more capacity or a heater that can be changed later, you should also look at the F1 and F2. Our expert advice can help you find the right version based on your specific application.
Gas or electricity?
Gas offers an easily adjustable heat supply, while electricity requires a suitable power connection and eliminates the need for fuel storage. The location, desired operating effort, and available energy supply will decide. With the F-series, the decision is not permanent, as gas, electric, and wood heaters can be swapped or retrofitted.
Single-walled or double-walled/insulated?
Single-walled smoking cabinets react more strongly to the ambient temperature. A double-walled or insulated design keeps the conditions in the cooking chamber more stable and can be useful in cool weather. Which version is right for you depends on the location, season, smoking process, and model; a double-walled design is not always strictly necessary.
Can I smoke in winter?
Yes, smoking in winter is generally possible. However, low outside temperatures affect the heating time and temperature maintenance, especially with single-walled units. A suitable heating output, a wind-protected location, and, if necessary, a double-walled or insulated design will help. The specifications of the respective model and the heating used remain decisive.
